Sunshine Cement's storage and truck loading facility allows delivery of bulk cement on a quick turnkey basis. Centrally located at the Port of Stockton, California, our facility has the capability to provide cement to the construction industry throughout the San Joaquin Valley, San Francisco - Oakland - San Jose metropolitan areas and Northern California.
For this purpose Sunshine Cement leases the floating Cement Silo Vessel
M/V "Golden Arrow 1" as a storage
and discharge terminal. The M/V "Golden Arrow
1" is capable of discharging feeder vessels at a rate of 6000
- 8000 metric tons per day into it's own holds, with a total storage capacity
of about 50,000 metric tons.
To discharge to shore M/V "Golden Arrow 1" is connected by an air slide system to an indoor state of the art dual truck loading system capable of loading bulk trucks at 2 X 150 metric tons per hour.
The truck loading operation is fully automatic and virtually dust free.
Sunshine Cement continues to monitor the U.S Cement markets with a view to expanding its operations into other parts of California and beyond.
